Ketchikan, Native Cultural & Wildlife Tour - Bear & Totem Adventure

3 hours

Easy

Small-group 14 passenger minibus or 11 passenger van

Join Clan House Tours, a Native-owned and operated experience led by local Haida and Tlingit guides. More than just a sightseeing trip, this tour is a cultural journey!

Explore the Totem Heritage Center, home to one of the world’s largest collections of 19th-century totem poles, and hear the legends and family stories carved into each one. Along the way, your guide will share personal tales of growing up in Ketchikan and reveal how Native communities used medicinal plants and berries from the rainforest for centuries.

Of course, Ketchikan's natural beauty surrounds us at every turn. With luck, we may see salmon fighting their way upstream, eagles soaring above, or even bears fishing in Herring Cove. But what makes this journey truly unforgettable is the Native perspective, connecting wildlife, land, and people in one living story.

This is not just a tour, it’s a chance to experience Ketchikan through the eyes of its first people.
